A dream came true for three of Georgia’s brightest young golfers, who recently had the opportunity to compete on one of the game’s most iconic stages, Augusta National Golf Club, after advancing through local, subregional, and regional qualifying to reach the National Finals. Representing their communities and the state with pride were Kipp Madison of Augusta, Moa Kim of Duluth, and Finley Nelson of Marietta.
Madison, competing in the Boys 14–15 division, made his second appearance at Augusta National after capturing the 2024 Boys 12–13 National title. He continued his strong track record with a T-3 finish against a talented field. Kim, who competes on the Georgia PGA Junior Tour, delivered an impressive all-around performance in the Girls 12–13 division, earning a 2nd place overall finish while also capturing the first place medal in Driving. Madison is also a Georgia PGA Junior Tour participant, further highlighting the strength of the program. Nelson, competing in the Boys 7–9 division, turned in a strong showing as well, finishing 4th overall and securing the first place medal in Chipping.
In addition, Georgia PGA REACH was proudly represented by Foundation Programs Coordinator Jordan Haynes, who served in a leadership role during the Finals, guiding the Girls 7–9 group. Her involvement highlights the impact of Georgia PGA REACH staff in supporting and elevating junior golf on a national stage.
Congratulations to these exceptional young athletes for representing Georgia so well at the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the bright future of the game in our state.
