PGA REACH Georgia hosted its Annual Georgia PGA Women’s Summit on Wednesday, March 11 at Atlanta Athletic Club, welcoming women from across the golf industry for a day focused on connection, community, and empowerment. Building on the foundation set by previous initiatives, the Summit furthered PGA REACH Georgia’s mission of creating inclusive opportunities and supporting the continued growth of women in the game.
Designed to bring together female professionals from across the state, the event provided a platform to foster meaningful relationships, share resources, and encourage professional development. Attendees represented a wide range of roles within the industry, contributing to a collaborative and engaging environment throughout the day.
The Summit featured keynote presentations from Amanda Barbee, Senior Design Associate with Beau Welling Design and one of the only female golf architects in the world, as well as PGA of America District 10 Director, Paige Cribb, PGA, who also serves as Director of Student Support for the PGM Program at Coastal Carolina University. Both speakers offered valuable insight into leadership, career growth, and the evolving landscape for women in golf, reinforcing the importance of mentorship and opportunity within the industry.
Programming included interactive icebreakers, a networking lunch, and time on the golf course, allowing attendees to connect both professionally and personally. Serving as the event moderator, Georgia PGA Secretary, Elizabeth Clarkson, PGA, added, “While it always feels like a privilege to be a PGA Member, events like this make us proud to be female leaders in our industry. The Georgia PGA is truly dedicated to sharing the benefits of golf for all walks of life.”
The event was hosted at Atlanta Athletic Club in partnership with presenting partner SAR - A Steinberg Collection, a brand dedicated to empowering women through elevated, performance-driven design. SAR played an integral role in the day, including a motivational speech from their VP of Operations, Alli Dent, and hosting a special giveaway for attendees that added to the overall experience and engagement. Kendra Scott also enhanced the experience with an on-site pop-up shop, with 20% of proceeds benefiting PGA REACH Georgia and its ongoing initiatives. Additional support was provided by supporting partner Tito’s Handmade Vodka, helping bring the event to life.
Through a combination of education, networking, and on-course engagement, the 1st Annual Women’s Summit successfully created a meaningful and inspiring experience, highlighting the strength and momentum of the women’s community within the Georgia PGA.
